Hi Jimmy,
I fished the Fig Rig's all last season. They are an excellent rod. The rods are made from very high quality material's. The Fiber Max rods feature Fuju SIC guide's, and a very high 57 million modules graphite blank. Each is "spined" for proper guide placement and all of the guide's are hand wrapped. They are available either with a reel seat or a all cork tennessee style handle. Yes Fiber Optics are incorperated into the design of the rod. The purpose being to transmit the slightest nibble or pick up to your hand. You will not find a more sensitive or durable rod at any price. The rods carry a lifetime warranty. They even have an exchange offer, should you think that you should have purchased a different action or length. You can't go wrong. Hope this helps.
