It saddens me how out of touch with the environment us sportsmen/women are. You'd think that for the amount we enjoy and are involved with nature, we'd know somthing about it, and want to conserve it.
At the rate we are going, there will be nothing left of this planet for our kids. This isn't some abstract concept either, most of us don't realize how close we are to extinction.
What I'm trying to say is, changes will have to be made, and if we all get a little more informed on the topic, the changes might be a little less painfull.
It is a fact that at the rate of natural resource consumption we are now at the world won't go on much past 2050. Sure, some of us won't be around then, but there will be a lot of us who will be.
In light of the election, if you are looking for a candidate that will keep things the way they are, you will be casting a vote to end the natural world.
What it comes down to is, do any of us really care?
