In the recent days, there has obviously been much discussion regarding the political views of our presidential candidates. Many of the posts have come from well informed voters, and others have come from uneducated pot stirrers. Anyway, here's my two cents.....

My brother recently moved to California. As many of you know, legislation was passed that requires the registration of all guns. My brother has deer hunted, shoots trap, and so on. Two of his rifles were confiscated because they were categorized as "assault rifles." Now, these were regular, store bought deer rifles with no modifications. The authors of the legislation are pronounced Gore supporters based on his views of gun control. I guess my point is, that if you don't think it can happen to us, take a look at Calif.

The right to vote is a privelege, so even no what your political views, vote your conscience. Unless of course you want to vote for Gore:)

Good post. I don't necessarily agree with you, but like you say, that's what makes this country great.

It took the Aussies about 2 wks to lose their guns. If I am incorrect on the amount of time, please correct me. Thanks.
They still lost their guns.
