I am buying the fl-8 slt pro pack. my question is should I get the dual beam or just stay with the 19 standard transducer. I will be fishing no deeper then 40 ft. the dual beam is only 20 bucks more (big deal I know) but whats best. does the switch box get in the way when fishing. thanks guys

Go for it!
It is handy to pinpoint smaller jig's.
The light kit is a great tool too, well worth the extra cash because it is great for charging glow jigs and general area lighting near your hole set's.

get the dual
all i use is the 9 degree
20 degree 40 feet of water cone diameter 13 feet
10 degree 6.5 feet
if you fish perch as your name suggests you will be able to even tell when your bait is missing with practice or watch your 32oz jig in 30 feet of water
