Severl teenagers have been taking 8 to 12 lb walleyes under the bridge across the Mississippi on the Como (west) side near the public launch ramp. The seem to prefer green marshmellows dipped in cod-liver oil. The kids are floating the bait in the current off-shore by casting up steam and letting the bobber bouyed bait bounce along on current ripples. One kid took 15 over 30 inch 'eyes' in less than an hour. By the way, what is today's date?

I caught a 29 lb walleye there. It had a Bichon Frise in its mouth and a pierced adipose fin.
