Any ideas how to create multi colored jig heads using the powder paint. I tried re heating and dipping into another color, but they look cruddy. I'm begging for some ideas?

I do the multicolors at the same time (coat entirely with first color and immediately partially coat with second color. Clean all paint from the eye before the paint hardens and then hang from oven rack at 380 for a little while. The two colors will tend to blend at the point where they meet. I like the results much better than the reheat and apply second color method.

Use nylon craft paint brushes and dip the tip into the powder paint, then tap it over the heated jig in the area you want the paint to be. You can put on any design of color that you like at all. The brush technique works very well for painting blades in a perch pattern, or with aplying the new translucent finishes. Hope this helps, Chris.

I do both colors with the same heating. Half of the jig in first color and the other half in the second color. I have even done three colors.
