Back in the early 80's In-Fisherman had a couple of articles on the use of water dogs as bait. I ordered a couple of dozen from some place in the Dakotas. The Bass loved them and I think I may have caught a couple of walleyes with them. My question is this. Has any one used them for walleyes and if so what kind of success did you have? Are they still available? At one time Carl
Lowrance (inventor of the fish locator) was real involved with them, how did that ever pan out?
Thanks in advance!! Jim

I used them alot in the 80's, only because my nephew used to catch them in a pond behind his house. Mainly fished them on Lake Sakakawea in ND and the walleyes went crazy for them. They don't bite them, they slam them. It's like they wanted to kill them.Used them with a jig, plain hook and with spinners. All worked. Caught some BIG fish. Just thinking about it, I might have to try them this year.
