Just back after a long period of abstinence from the board. Haven't seen anything from REW in recent postings, though I used to enjoy reading his commentary. Is he still around? Good fishing, John.

I've noticed his scarcity too, but he's still around--just posts less frequently. I think I read a few recent posts of his in Boats and Motors section. (REW is another of my WC heroes)

Glad to see you're still here. While I'm still a dope, reading your postings picked my learning curve way up from where it would otherwise have been, particularly through the process of getting and outfitting a boat. Thanks again. Looking forward to dipping the line here in Iowa as the season approaches. Was out a couple days ago with friend Fred, and we left them all in the lake for the other guys. Good fishing, John.
