Best waterproof boots that will be comfortable in temperatures from the 20's to the 90's?

Cold weather calls for Sorels. Warm weather calls for sandals. Gotta keep those piggies happy.

Cold weather calls for Lacross Ice Kings. I dont mess around with cold feet! But for anything 50 and above its tennis shoes to be comfortable. Spend 10 to 12 hours a day in the boat and comfort comes first. If it gets cold or rains, out my the ten doller pair of rubber totes. Leave them right in the boat for convienience. Fold into tiny ball, easy on and off, and totally waterproof.

Hey Otter, Look into the Timberland non-insulated Gortex lined boots. I fish with these when its between 30-80 degrees. Have never fished when its below 30 and over 80 out comes the sandals.

Very sensitive skin - sunburn very easily so I can't go the sandals route. I've been wearing tennis shoes in the warmer weather, but they get soggy when it rains.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-08-00 AT 10:01AM (CST)[p]Depends on your floor and deck surface. If fiberglass, make sure you have soles made for fiberglass or you may take a swim. A lot of sole surfaces cause slipping if your fiberglass is wet. If you have fiberglass get boots with deck soles. Summertime - deck shoes. If carpet, get what is comfortable and warm or cool ;-).

Gotta go with the Timberlands. Been wearing mine for two years, all year long. Mud, snow, trails, 100 degree days in an aluminum boat. Use them for back-ups when I'm on the ice. I usually go through a pair in two months tops, I'm awful on shoes, but these just keep pluging away.

I've got the ticket. Six inch Rocky boots, GoreTex lined, lightweight with rubber soles. Not only warm in cold weather, comfortable in warm weather, but they keep those pesky biting flies off your ankles. I wear mine all the time.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-08-00 AT 12:58PM (CST)[p]If you are into ice fishing, you got to try the army issued "Mickey Mouse Boots". There is nothing warmer. You want to use the white boots they are the warmest. I'm not sure on the warmer weather, but when it is cold out, they are to boot to be in!
