big bay U.P.Michigan

[walleye rookie]

I am planning to go to big bay in late june.
can anyone give me some info.

I grew up just outside of Big Bay. The boat ramp and marina are really nice. However, the road from Marquette to Big Bag is not in the best shape, lots of pot holes and tight curves. Usually construction going on every summer. The town of Big Bay is truly beautiful, small shops, great restaurants and the local people are very friendly.
The actual bay is great for Lake Trout, but I've never caught a walleye out of it, seeing that it is Lake Superior and my dad who I fished with all the time only liked Lake Trout. But, I would give it a whirl and let us all know how you do.
