Is there any difference between last years model of the Zercon Colorpoint and this years model? I have found a dealer that has a last year model that is brand new and he would give me and excellent price on it. Still haven't decided between the Zercon and the Vexilar but am exploring the options.
Someone said that the newr model has a better transducer.

I read on a different board that Zercom is using a new motor. Some of the problems I've had with mine were inconsistent motor speeds in cold weather that were not battery related. If they can solve their problems I think it will be a very good unit. JC
