I'm going to replace the old 'bias' tires on my boat trailer with a new set of radials. I need your suggestions on a nice set. Maybe the Goodyear Marathon?
Thanks, Bill.

I replaced my bias tires with a set of $50 "off brand" radials from Firestone. I did go from 185/75/14 to 205/70/14's and I like to trailer my 18' prov better now. Make sure you get them balanced.
Maybe Marathon's and other tires are better, but mine age before they wear out (6000 miles/yr). If you drive serious miles like some of the PWT guys, high end tires might be worth it.
my 2 cents..

If you run a lot of highway miles, I strongly endorse the Goodyear Marathon trailer tires.

I wont use any other tire than the goodyear marathon. I put a lot of miles on in a year. I think the 6 ply sidewalls really help.

I just switched to the Goodyear radials and they're worth every penny. Shop around and you'll find some big differences in price. You can also save some money by not going with the raised letter sidewalls.
