You will love the motor. Very quiet and smooth. I have that motor(Suzuki) on a 1650Sc Fishhawk Crestliner and at an idle the depth finder speedometer says 1.1 mph in forward.
First time that I started it was in water 39.7 and it never missed a beat. It is really nice to be able to just hit the key with out touching the throttle or mess with a choke.
What size boat will this be on?

this will be on a 18 ft tunnel hull jon boat with center consol.
i got a 98 4stroke 50 mariner on there now and the boat goes 36 via the paddle wheel.
it has a 75hp limit on it.
hoping to hit mid 40's.
but i love to troll on the river.
so trolling speed is important.
