Whats the description of amsoil that you use? They have lots of kinds like the 100:1 or what?

There is a big difference between 2-cycle oil intnded for water-cooled outboards and 2-cycle oil intended for air-cooled engines. The OB oil will carbon up the air cooled engines very badly. I know, I almost ruined a LawnBoy mower with TCW oil.
Your auger is air-cooled, so use LawnBoy mower oil, or any 2-cycle oil made for air cooled engines, such as Stihl chainsaw oil, or a name-brand oil for air-cooled snowmobiles. Just don't use an oil made for water-cooled engines.
