Hi
Not sure where on the Wi. R. you are fishing. I fished it last week Sunday in the lower Dells and walleyes were still in transition, located at different depths. Was a windier day after a while, which made lindy rigging easier and more productive than slipping with the current. Used northland spinners. Fish were taken on fatheads (Botch's fatheads at River's Edge are great...nice size and last a long time....as compared to ones I bought elsewhere and at Missippi R. the day before) and on crawlers. In fact, I was in my boat anchored about 20 ft. from my friend in his boat and we were lindy rigging...he used crawlers on some rods I used all fatheads...we ended up hooking the same walleye at same time.... reeled up thinking we have two fish on but instead had two hooks in same walleye! http://www.walleyecentral.com/dcf/Images/happy.gif fun day...enjoy the river and the 'eyes

A lot of small fish ahve been caught abopve the dam on 1/4 oz green jig nheads with fatheads.
I heard some nice fish have been caught below the dam but I have not fished this area in awhile. There is a rock shore line before the boat ramp that is good and also try casting cranks at the wall in front of the big overspill gates. Silver Husky's, cotton cordell Redfin white and blue. #21 is a always good.

Be careful the water is low.

I fished the River on friday. Caught 40 walleye. Brought home 7 legals! 1/4 oz jigs and shiner works. Wasn't locating any fish though.
