Fished last night out of Huron. Tried east as well as in front of the river, along nickle plate and by the west wall. Fished from 5:00pm-10:00pm. We did not catch anything. Last week before Thanksgiving we a had couple of good nights including catching 15 nice eyes on 11/23/99. Did anyone pull any from the boats last night,12/3/99? Has anyone been fishing Marbelhead or east 72nd street in Cleveland?

Week and a half ago as you might have read the possable state record walleye was caught aboard Andy Emirsko's "Wave Walker" charter while perch fishing. It wass 33 inches with 21 1/2" girth weighing 15.29lbs. The week before at the crib a 14 lb. eye was caught perch fishing. Some hogs are in there but haven't heard too many fishing for them off the rocks or from boats. Perch fishing right off the 72nd light house has been excellent with alot of jumbo perch in the box.

My bad typing...It weighed 16.29lbs. Sorry.

Hey Jeff,
I tried your e-mail that you listed and it went nowhere. Can you tell me where you are catching the perch in Cleveland? Are you fishing from the pier or are you fishing from a boat? Where did you get the lake shinners your useing? Thankx in advance for any help

You can catch your own shinners in the huron river with a 4 x 4 casting net. Otherwise you will be paying almost $2.00 a dozen. You have to call around but I think the place over in lakewood off Lorain has some(by the rocky river ramp). There catching perch about 2 miles out and if the water is clean near shore off cleveland. Just use your finder to locate them, there in pretty tight.
Good Luck!!
