Ended the season on a high note. Took 6 walleyes over 10 pounds the biggest being a 32 inch 10.8 pounder. This last week we have been taking fish both during the day and at night. We were off the water by 8 every night. The fish during the day were coming between third and center reef. Nighttime fish coming off the reefs, but not around the weeds. With the weeds turning brown they are no longer producing oxygen, so the fish aren’t utilizing them anymore. We have had a very good year. Didn’t think it was possible to catch more fish than I did last fall, but we did. We had 19 smallmouths over 20 inches , 4 walleyes over 11 pounds and I think we had another 15 over 10 pounds. Bay de Noc was good, very good to us this fall.I would like to thank Dan and Ellen at the Bay View Motel for putting up with me this past fall, I’ll be back next year. Thanks for all the positive comments I got throughout the year, See you at the shows. Good luck,Capt. Doug Schreiber, Hot Jigs Guide Service
