Who's been to Mille Lacs? How thick is the ice outside the bays on the main lake? Is anybody gettting anything? Thanks

Hi

We woke up this morning to a fabulous 10 below zero! If the wind would give us a little break, we could see things happen soon. At this point (9 AM Thursday) Cove has 3-6 inch ice most of the way to the point. Nearly all areas are good to walk, but there are still a few areas of thin ice that cause us to recommend foot traffic ONLY at this time. Wahkon and Isle Bays are in very similar shape and also should be fine for foot traffic. The bite has been limited to perch and a few northern at this point. The next few days/nights will tell us alot

Just heard there is 7 inches on the eastside, will be pulling houses probably after christmas.Monday or Tuesday we hope.
