the ayuaview is infer-red and is supposed to be
better at night and in cluody watter but i have
never seen them side by side some lakes i fish
i cant see to far with regular a/v i dont know
if ther I/R would be any better. I like it for
icefishing but in a boat you spend to much time
looking and less time fishing but i still enjoy
exploring with it although it probly cost two
or three fish an outing.

The Aqua-Vu JR comes with 50ft of cable and infrared lights around the camera. The Aqua-Vu II systems come with a slightly larger monitor and a hard plastic sun shield. You can get the Aqua-Vu II systems with or without the infrared light source and cable lenghts from 50 to 150ft. If you need more information they have a website at www.aquavu.com.

The aquaview jr. i used on a nearby lake, I coudn't count the number of anchors, cans, steel and BS that is on the bottom. It's a clear lake with big $ houses all around it. Topside it's beautiful, the bottom was sad looking. if all the pepole that use the waters could see what i saw, things would not be droped in them as much, i hope..

Sounds like Lake Geneva, Wis. Am I right. I used a Vist Cam there and saw the same thing.

The Aqua View Jr. was a quick response to another companies camera. The VS-300. A much more compact unit made by a guy that used to work for Aqua View. I was working a booth at a sportshow where they had both models sitting next to each other and the VS-300 outsold the Aqua View 4 to 1. The picture was very noticably clearer.

Unfortunately, could probably be anylake, USA. I used to scuba dive a lot, and always found lots of booty: rods, reels, anchors, and there would always be one log or rock close to shore with a couple dozen lures stuck on it. We'd take down bags for booty and trash. Once we found a Subaru.

There is a new unit in the Cabela's Master Catalog Spring Edition II on page 81 that I have never seen before. Is this the same thing that was seen at the trade show?
