Well Monday's the big day. I pulled all the big fish houses onto the lake today with the bomber. The majority of the ice is 12 to 13 inches of good, clear, blue ice. If you look hard under some drifts you can find some still at 9 inches, but you have to look hard. Minnows are due in the morning, as well as our first guests. For all purposes, we are fully operational, as I will be picking up people at Young's Bay with the bomber. Also, the Flying Service is now coming to the island as well. There is about 3 to 6 inches of snow on the ice for anyone interested in snowmobile conditions, but there has been no additional trail marking for snowmobiling as yet. The next report will contain fishing information.
