To all local clubs in pool 4
The Walleye Searchers Club is putting together
thier club tourny dates for 2000.
And are looking for info from other local clubs
on their tourny's.So not to conflict to much on the water if posible. If your club has tourny's
open to the public. We will be happy to post them in our monthly news letter.
Thanks Tom

Say Tom could you do me a favor and send me all the dates and ph#'s for info on tourn'y on pool 4 for the year 2000? I fished a tourny on pool 4 last year and really enjoyed it. Might fish more this year. Thanks "COMA"
Could you give a little more detail as to where pool 4 is. What River are you discussing?
They are referring to the Mississippi river south from the dam at Redwing including Lake Pepin , I'm not sure of the where the dam is on the south end of it.
South end of pool 4 must be dam 4 at Alma.I think.
if the weather gets real cold, are any,or which ones of these dam tailwater areas open in the winter?
From Dec 29-31,i fished loc 14 and on down to burlington ia for a couple of days, some tailwaters were accessible, some not. the weather has made the eyes mighty slow--or,i did not figure it out! no one else seemed to be doing any good. however,One good fishermen from dubuque was catching sauger below loc #10 in 50ft of water. i am going to fish alot this winter if i can, would appreciate any information on the tailwaters below Red Wing to Burlington. good luck
I fish just below Pool 17 at Toolesboro, IA which is south of Muscatine. The ramp is usually open all winter unless it gets really cold for some time.
Moyer's Tackle Box is the local bait shack on the north end of Wapello, IA(Hwy 61), west side of the road. They can tell you if the ramp is open, 319-523-3834.
