With warmer weather again forecast for the weekend I was thinking about heading over to the river. Was wondering about launch conditions and if there have been any fish being caught at Genoa.Thanks, Doug.

I called a few places over by the river was told some boats were heading out to fish but know one could tell me if the launches were open. Heading to Genoa tomorrow will try by power plant if not there should be able to get out by Blackhawk launch. I was up two weeks ago got some fish mostly saugers we had a few eyes two arround 5#

I to was wondering what the situation was at Black Hawk or Geno. Is the boat landing open
and are they catching any eyes.
I was hoping to get over there this weekend.

I was at Genoa on Monday. The ice was so thick we could not get to the dam, we tried braking it with the boat but it was too thick. We fished the power plant from 12-4 and did not even have a hit. Blackhawk was totally frozen over. The warm weather may have broken up the ice. Good Luck. Post a message when you get back if you would be so kind. Thanks
