Edges are soft and water on ice but at Hooters,Wicks,and YMCA the ice is still 4-5 inches thick. Muffler Man, Kantucky Fried Chicken, Wicks and fishing is hot, especially north of Hooters at train bridge. They are using Jigging Rapalas (darker colors are best) and jigs. A 55-60" Sturgeon was caught and released between 7:30am and 8:00am at Wicks park. The Sturgeon hit a spoon and broke the line so the guy rerigged and hooked it again. This time pulled it up to edge measured it and released it after taking his lost spoon from fish. ha He expressed again to use extra caution when on ice, the edges are still very soft.
