It gave some real incentive to make the final cut didn't it. A nice introduction to the future of walleye tournaments. All the guys represented us in great fashion. Congradulations to them all. Would have been a nice time to announce to the public the 2001 circuit though.
It was a great show and I think I'll try the Greenbay Fox River arw next summer. But what does "RCL" stand for???? They never mention what the letters stand for. Good luck FISHING....KAZ

RCL stands for Ranger, Crestliner, Lund
Thanks, why didn't I think of that! To simple, and I was trying to think of something complicated!!! Good luck FISHING.....Kaz

I thought it was a first class show and very interesting. But I can see that if you don't make the last day, you aren't going to do your sponsors much good. The only thing that disappointed me was the lack of coverage given to the amateurs. I thought they would at least put a shot of the Am winner on, but all they did was mention his name and that he won $120,000. Hey, he won the largest Walleye payout of all time up to that point. That's gotta be worth some air time! If they are going to fill am spot in the RCL circuits, I think they need to give them a little more hope of visibility. After all, many ams are aspiring pros, and the value of being on ESPN cannot be underestimated. Overall, it was very well done. I thought the cutaways with Ted Takasaki were a nice touch. Looking forward to seeing more of the same.

I agree they did a bang up job on the coverage. Everyone did a great job. Scott Glorvigan did a great job on showing how the Walleye pros really can make an impact in the sport of fishing and not just for Bass.
I really enjoy the coverage and the way they bring the spectator into the boat. Fishing is a tough spectator sport and that is one of the draw backs of it growing. Having the ability to bring the spectator into the boat really makes a difference. The PWT could really learn some things on the way this was put on.
All in all I give it a A+ and I do agree that a little coverage on the Am along with some on the qualifying days would be nice. It will be interesting to see how they handle coverage on the big waters the river really made it easier for the coverage team.
An added bonus was being able to watch it on a premier stations ESPN2 at a premier time 9:00AM, not like PWT on TNN at 11:30PM on Monday nights.
Does anyone know if it will be shown on ESPN 2 again? Thanks, Bill
