Does anyone know the ice conditions on mille lacs?

I was on Mille Lacs over New Years and we found anywhere from 8-12 inches of ice on the south end of the lake. Some operators where driving on the ice moving houses around, but most used snowmobiles, ATV's, or foot power.

Walleye action was slow, but perch action was good.
