I'm going to Valentine, Nebraska this weekend to fish for Blue Gills on Pelican Lake or Hackeberry.
There are no maps of these lakes and this is my first trip. The only information I have is what I have seen on video with Dave Genz and Tony Dean which is to fish holes in the weeds. Pelican Lake is decent in size does anyone have a contact or information that could at least get me started? Thanks in advance.

A good contact would be Cork's Bait Shop in Valentine. I'm not sure of the number, but it's a (402) area code. We go out anually to Valentine to fish the refuge lakes for Pike on tip-ups. It's a blast!!!
