the point of Gratiot, Mackinaw and Michigan across from McDonalds just called to let us know that people have reported they are taking bigger walleye lately from Hooters, Ameritech (Ma Bells Place) and Wicks Park. Fish are being taken at Wicks and Ojibway Is. and still hot near railroad bridge. Better fishing in morning and evening but have had reports of fisherman still catching during the day. Woody reminds us that you can sign up at his place for the "Shiver on the River". The Shiver is giving away $4k in prizes this year. There is 5in. plus of ice in all places on the river at this time.
