Sport shows in denver area?

When are they and will they have any stuff that will intrest me? I dont need a boat, but always looking to find good bargins and such. What is the farthest west that Jeff and the boys from reeds will travel for sport shows? How do they compare to the shows in MN? Thanks, Doc

I have never been to the Minnesota shows or the Chicago shows, but I always goto the Denver show. I am sure they compare favorablly. Most of the big outfitters and lodges usually show up. There are 3 million people in the Denver metro area and our economy is booming, so there are alot of potential customers here. I can try to get this years dates for you if you need them?

I haven't seen the dates advertised as of yet. It is usually around mid March. I will post the dates as soon as they become available.

They were posted in the Denver Post on Sunday...
The Colorado Rv, Adventure & Travel Show is Jan 10-13 303-892-6800. The Denver Boat Show is Jan 11-14 970-407-1866. The Denver Sportsman's Show is Jan 17-21 1-800-343-6973. The Denver International Sportsmen's Show is Feb 22-25 360-693-3700. The article said that all four shows are scheduled at the Colorado Convention Center, but the past few years the Sportsmen show that is sponsored by Gart Brothers has been at Currigan Hall next door to the Convention Center. I've never saw a Reed's booth at the Denver shows. Been to the Denver shows from '96-'99. But I sure do visit them whenever I go through SD.

The only one that is really worth while is the Denver International show. The Denver Sportsman show is mainly fly fishing and trout fishing. I've never seen Reed's at them. Just a note...Berkely, Abu Garcia, Fenwick, and etc (Purefishing products) will NOT be at any Denver Shows.

The Colorado Rv, Adventure & Travel Show and Denver Boat show is more rv, boats, recreation equipment and etc. It's great if your looking for a new RV or boat, but other than that not much else.

no...they have a rep for this area
they said the samething last year and at the last minute decided to do it. It seems pretty clear that this year they will not be doing any consumer shows in the Denver area.
