Could anyone tell me the ice conditions on Big Boy Lake and if any fish are bitting?

Pretty sure it's not safe enough for major traffic yet...I'd be "absolutely" sure before venturing out too far....

Yes, Big Boy Lake in Northern MN. It actually goes into Leech Lake through Boy Bay. Have you fished it this winter?? I haven't been up since the ice went on, so I haven't done any fishing.

Well, it depends on what your driving and where on the lake you go out. Sometimes people go out on lakes before "checking them out" when it is time to go out on them...

ice conditions good. stay away from river inlet and outlet. fishing is terrible-some small perch andlittle one pound northerns. searched for two days and never caught a walleye.

Have not been on since last year, (hammered jumbo perch). planning to fish it the weak of the pout-fest.
