I talked to a guy who fishes at Waubay Lake, SD and says the ice fishing for northerns and wallyes is unbelievable, I was wondering if anyone could tell me any information they know about the lake(places to fish, campground, acess)
Thanks in Advance

I just came back from that lake a week ago. It isn't that good. all we caught was 3 walleye about 15 inchs and about 30 perch. keepers but nothing to brag about. and 2 northerns about 2-3 lbs. Talked to a couple of other people that were out there that were locals, and they said it's been slow this year.

Reply to Chris:
You need to be aware that there is a 16 inch walleye minimum on a lot of SD lakes and Waubay is one of them. You were lucky to not get caught as I have been checked by CO's twice last week and they said they have been apprehending a lot of violators.
