Just a note to all you upstate n.y fisherman. there has been a lot of activity in the susquehanna river near hickories park in owego by boat and near tri cities airport by shore. We have been catching several walleyes from 8 inches to 27 inches. Really nice fishing right now with jigs and small sucker minnows. We also have been releasing all the fish over 20 inches, keep the breeding going , if anyone else has any other spots that have been producing fish please reply. Have a good one.

Jon: Been fishing up near Campville with good luck.No monsters but plenty in the 3-5lb. range.
Went to Bailey's Eddy in Nichols last weekend and caught a limit between 17"and 23". This high water
has really turned them on. Tight lines & good fishing. Bullet

I have also had some sucess in the Apalaching area. Bait of choice was a jig and shiner casting from shore. This cold weather has put a ton of ice on the river so it looks as though my fishing season is over until ice out(i've never taken up ice fishing). I believe the new bridge connecting Apalachin to Campville will ruin my fishing hole. But whatcha gonna do!!
Good luck.... it's good to see some people from NY on this board.
