was wondering if you can launch boats alright if river is holding ice would like to take boat out.if anyone could give me info i would be greatful. i though the name of the place was called drassbac on the mississippi if wrong please correct me thanks for help.

I think your talking about Dresbach, at LaCrosse, WI, check out www.sauger.com/river and go to their message board, someone there will know.

I have been fishing the river for the past 3 weeks the dam area is open at Genoa ands Liberty and we were going to Dressbach but changed because its mostly a nite bite there, but it was open last weekend. If you get there and closed then head to Genoa only a short hop down stream.
