Woody from Live Bait in Saginaw MI, located at the
point of Gratiot, Mackinaw and Michigan across from
McDonalds just called to let us know that people are
fishing at Hooters, the Beanery and 1st Street. Wicks
Park doesn't seem to have very good ice. In fact at
Hooters and the other spots there is about 4" but not
consistant. Be sure to spud your way out to be safe.
Hopefully with tonight being very cold it will help.
Better fishing in morning and evening but have had
reports of fisherman still catching during the day.
Woody reminds us that you can sign up at his place
for the "Shiver on the River". The Shiver is giving
away $4k in prizes this year. There is 5in. plus
of ice in all places on the river at this time.
Best luck using Jigging Rapalas, Sweetish Pimples
and line green and yellow jigs.
