fished a few coves at the creek yesterday (1-15) and the perch and the eyes are on a terror..use extreme caution though cause the ice is really shaky in places, matter of fact I threw a rock the size of a quarter threw it on the main lake, however the way our weather is going to be this week I think the main will have plenty of ice on it by next weekend..try sky valley for now,5 solid inches on it,biggest eye 25 and biggest perch was a whopper 17.5
I fished deep creek out of a boat, but i never ice fished it before, where do you find places to park i would appreciate it if you could tell me how to go about catching perch and walleyes through the ice, anything would help thank you toby

The 1-15 was saturday the 15 th of Jan.I`ve been using jigging raps and nils..My bro was using 1-64 oz jigs with waxies.Next weekend I`ll have my tip ups out with the jiggin,I watched 3 guys that had 15 tip ups out and in less than 2 min they had 8 flags up...should be lots of ice by next weekend

Thanks for the info eyecatcher, just wondering is there any open water at Deep Creek? Any creeks flowing in or out of the lake, Im not a big icefisherman I like staying on dry ground. If there is any open water, where at. What depth are you catching the fish at, jigs and minnows? Any info is greatly appreciated
thanks for the information eyecatcher and good luck this weekend
