Fishing for the week was a little more nconsistent than last week. However, it was overall still pretty good. We have seen some houses continue with very good catches of eating sized walleyes, and a smattering of nice mid-20 inch fish. Other houses tapered off to slower action. Perch continued good, but a little slower that last week. The deeper areas of approximately 28 feet improved greatly. No special lures seemed significantly better than others, but semi aggressive jigging still seemed to be the key.
Some anglers did well with smaller green jigs.
Two nice fish were caught this week. A 27 inch walleye by Tim Erickson of Roseau, and a 28 inch by Siebe Muller of Slayton.
