Steve I have fished pool 9 for the past month and have limited out every time. I release all but it's nice to know I can get legals.Pool 9 is between Liberty and Genoa just south of Lacrosse. You can launch right at the dam just go to the left of the entrance of the power plant and follow around to the landing the road shoulkd be marked. as far as fishing the dam get in at least 20 to 40 ft and use 3/8 or 1/2oz pinkand white glow or blue and white glow jigs. they work great and fat head Minnows. If you are only getting small saugers try deeper and bigger profile like a twister added. If its slow there go to the first wing dam down stream and sloww drift going over the deep end. yopu may not mark but they are there. any questions e-mail me and I'll try to help Jim

pool 9 is from Linksville to Genoa Wisc. I just got back tonight. We fished Sat & Sun. Caught a lot of small sauger at the dam. We had to wade thru a lot of them to get any size. Red white & blue killer jigs were hot, but red/green & Lindy rigs caught bigger fish. Also found walleyes in the deeper pools from the first bend to the second bend downriver from the dam. It was extremly cols Sunday. The ice will be forming up again very quickly again starting today but you can probably still get in. I hope it helps. Please let me know how you do.
