I'm also from the Binghamton area. I fish the river here just spring and fall. The rest of the year I haul to Erie, Ontario, or Canada. Welcome aboard..you'll find a great bunch of people here. Good Fishing, Sluggo

Darn it. I moved from Albany out-a-state last year, but fished quite a bit in both Great Lake Sacandaga and Lake Saratoga when there.

Found Saratoga easy, as it was small. Got on a mean Pickeral bite last spring during spawn in west-side bay. Those things are vicious like pikey-walleye! Caught more walleye on east side around the big island point.

Great Lake Sac is harder (and bigger). We always launched at state ramp up on NE side by bridge. Definitely stop at bait shop (if you can find one) to get best current walleye spots on that lake. Lots of -shallow- flats near islands on west side, watch out! Beautiful pristine place though.

Good luck. I miss it a lot.

Hey, Was off the niagara river last weekend. How many laketrout do you want?!! In two hours my son and I landed over twenty lakers and two browns jigging sassy shads on light tackle. Interested in a trade a trip?? Patrickaok@aol.com
