Saginaw River ICE?

How's the ice and the walleye's on the Saginaw River now. I know it was thin last week, but with the cold I was hoping it would change.

We had about 3 to 4" on sat. p.m. It should only be getting better every day, now.

Was out on the river today 5-6 inches of ice. Around the Bean plant.

I was on the river Saturday and there was 5" plus everywhere we fished. First time for me up there and had a ball. 2 of us sorted thru over 40 fish to bring home our limits. #3 and #5 Rapalas were the hot baits. Good luck and be careful
