Silver Lake pike;Perry NY

Has anyone fished this lake.I've been there a few times and caught some pike and small eyes,had an excellant time once two years ago on pike around labor day could'd keepem off num 5 mepps spinners but have'nt been able to repeat since. Ive seen some very large pike during spawn time by large I mean 40's and better.I know timing is important but any imput on this lake would be apprec thanks.

If you drop me an email about next Tuesday I should have some info. Two guys I work with fish it regulary and should be there the weekend. There are some good walleye there also. Buddy was taking some 6-7# fish trolling last spring.
