What is the outlook for fishing off the islands in the next week or two? Also, any comments about guides. the last trip we made was with Hardwater Charters about two years ago. They seemed to run a pretty good operation. Would maybe like to find one that is geared more toward smaller groups of anglers. TIA DN

people started fishing at Catawba state park yesterday.Ihaven`t herd anything about how much ice is out there.you might want to call Rickards bait shop in Catawba.the #is 419-734-2496.with good ice at Catawba,Ijust fish off the mainland and do just as well as Ido at the islands and spend a lot less money.if you need anymore info please feel free to email me .
