I wore a Carhartt Workshield Parka this past season and really liked it. Only downside is there are no bibs available to pair with it. Very nice garment.

Bass Pro 100 MPH raingear can't be beat! Best raingear I have ever used and it has been put through one heck of a beating. Chris K.

For the Cabela's Guidwear, do those of you recommending it have the style with or without thinsulate? Does that just help for warmth or also for rain protection?

I've got a set of both the regular and thinsulate versions. They're the best made! Bite the bullet and invest in th best... you won't be sorry!

Have the best of Pro Rainer, Ocean Pro ATX, 3 layers of gortex like material, good polar fleece high collar-bought this year,$400. Its great down to 20-25 degrees, but going across the water you have to hide, enen in the mid 30 range. and less than 20 degress you are cold no matter with this outfit---i like to fish the cold weather! wish ah wish i had a set of thinsulite Guidewear--the Pro Rainer set is for sale, $200 --i dont mind cold weather, but dont like paying good money for something that doesnt work like yhou expect--bought it on sale, and by the time i found out it didnt work, it had a real nice fishing kind of appearance-no chance for returns
dang it,i should have posted this question last Nov before i bought the Pro Rainer.
That reminds me,What are the temperature range's between the Guidewear thinsulite and the regular Guidewear?
good fishin out there
