Hey BDH, Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I've kind of given up on the walleyes for now. I've made two trips to Yellowtail and caught good ling both times. 1st trip two of us got 28 ling, 5 of them bettor than 5lbs. 2nd trip we got 29 ling. Not quite as many big ones but still nice fish 3-4lbs. We catch them on live minnows and tip ups in the daylight. It is about a mile walk out on the ice.

How much ice is on the res.? Do you know how much ice there is up at Berry's Landing? Want to get my boat on the lake as soon as possible!!

BDH We went back out Sat the 21 and got 50 or so ling up to 6lbs. The ice there is 18". Two weeks ago I ran into some ice fishermen from Billings that had been to Barry's Landing and said that there wasn't any ice there at all. Probably still isn't. I don't go up there much so I can"t say.
