I fished the river on Tuesday and caught only 8 fish. I missed at least twice that many hits.
The river was "packed" with boats and I could see a few fish being caught while some people weren't getting any.
Three of my fish were in the 5-6lb. range. The others were dinks. All are still swimming. Alot of other people I saw were releasing the females also. Good Job!!
Water's still muddy and orange head(1/2 to 5/8oz.) with a piece of chartreuse on the hook worked the best. It was windy was reason for the bigger heads.
No Stinger Hook...No Fish!!
