I am planning a trip to the Fox this Saturday. I am not exactly sure where the best place might be to go this time of year. I anyone out there has suggestions as to where to go, I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, what would be best, position fishing or slip drifting trying to keep the jigs vertical?

I am planning on fishing the Fox for my very first
time this Saturday. Any suggestions on where to land?, jigging?, water depth, etc.? Thanks for your help.

Start from the Hwy 172 bridge up to the dam at De Pere. Jigging during the day (verticle works best for me) in the deeper water of the turn basin below the dam and along the river channel. At night break out the cranks and start casting the shallower water below the dam. Be careful of the no fishing boundry which is a line created by the overhead power wires that stretch across the river directly below the dam. You can't cast your lures beyond the plane created by the wires. Once you get comfortable, head down farther toward Green Bay and explore.

The launch at the fair grounds is bad,, Water,to low. Try the Boat dock on the east side near the Dairy Queen also the mouth of the green Bay is good/Call Bob's bait for details.Good luck
