Walleye Anglers Trail Spring Valley Event

Hey Illinois River fishermen just wondering if
the WAT is going to get any local boats from any
of the great river fishermen in the Illinois River
Valley area for the April 15,16 event. The have not gotten a single entry from any local fishermen
It's a great circuit run by great people. They're

The way I hear it , The "WAT" tourney in may is
on the same day as the USFA Ill. state championship
on the Mississippi! The gentleman(I'll use that term lightly) that directs "WAT" is not well liked! What I mean by that is the USFA director
and the WAT director had some words.....

Why would you have scheduled a two day tournament the same time and place as the Illinois State Team Walleye Championship? You have to fish that tournament in order to qualify for the Championship in North Dakota. I have more on the line to continue with the Championship series. As for the tournament next week end, I think everyone around here is pretty po'ed about yours scheduled at the same time in May. It's going to be a big FUBAR at the ramp with two tournaments going on at once! Competition will be hard enough without a fellow contender making it harder.

It is a shame in this year 2000,that friendly competition is just a story in the past. All of the businesses used to do their best to schedule around everyone else. Nowadays, it is alll about ME and who I can run out. Whatever happen to people working together to make a place for future generations?
