Just drove through Chamberlain today, must have been 50 or better empty trailers at American Creek boat ramp. Saw at least a half dozen boats north of town. Looked open south of railroad bridge.

Was there Wednesday 3-22-2000. Found a great place to cast jigs. Brought in alot of nice eyes and and two 3.4 lb females (which were placed back into the water). We saw boats pulling plugs and doing well but most were jigging. Cast out and do a slow retrieve, most fish were caught right at the boat. Major rod bending, who says that walleye don't fight. Water temp 42 to 44, eye's caught in 7 to 11 feet.
