I am planning on driving up to the Maumee River this Monday the 27th. It's a 3 hour drive for me, can anyone tell me if it's worth the trip right now? Thank you

from what i have heard it hasn't really took off yet. You may be timing it just right, the waters are receding now, and are starting to clear up, so it may be good. good luck and good fishin.

I was down to the river on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It is starting to pick up. On Saturday there were a few females being caught which is a good sign. Today I fished for a little less than two hours and I had two nice males. There were some people who had limits who fished all day. Several others had 5 to 7. The best rigs are chartruese (sp?) floaters right now. It is supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow so that may slow it down for a couple of days, but I think your chances would be pretty good for tomorrow. I have had better luck at Buttonwood than at Side Cut. Let me know if you need more info and good fishing.
