Pymatuning crappie fishing

Just wondering if crappie have started to hit
yet. A friend of mine bought a new crappie pole
(37'0") and would like to try it out. Any advice
Where to start looking? WOODMAN.

Woodman no reports of good crappie fishing yet.Went trolling today only caught 1 legal fish out of 5 cold North wind blowing waders are still doing good .Will try again tommorrow water temp 45 LCL.
