Any reports on how the walleyes are biting by the trestle?
Thanks in advance.
Fished the tressel on Sun. along with 8-10 other boats on the NE side, NOTHING, did'nt see anyone else pull anything in either. We never marked one fish even sitting still. Fished the okee bridge marked alot, all off bottom. Nothing biting used white jig heads and live minnows. GOOD LUCK.
Fished the train tressel today March 30 from 8am to 5pm, caught 30 eyes and saugers mostly saugers, very small only one over 15. all on Jig and fat head minnows. It was a beautiful day to be on the water, almost no wind and bright sun shine. Caught fish on both upriver and downriver sides of tressel. It seemed that they liked the deep holes just of the drop, some holes are 30 feet deep. Tight lines, Mike!!

Bill,
my partner and I were up there last sat. and we fished up in the river and caught about 20 with 3 legals about 16"-18". The majority of the fish were caught on three ways and cranks. All but 1 coming on a #8 Husky Jerk in Clown color. My partner had the only one like it in the boat and he spanked me big time. I was able to pick up a couple fish longlining heavy orange jigs tipped with a minnow and no plastic. Change rigs often if the fish aren't hitting they have been really picky this spring. By far most of our legals have come on crank baits trolled just fast enough to get the baits wobbling and worked by pumping the rod forward and then letting it back. Give cranks a try you might be suprised. Good luck and let the big ones go. Doug.
Wow, thanks for the great information guys. I'm new to the Lake Wisconsin area and need all the help I can get. I'm heading up there early Saturday. I'll be in a black/silver 1775 Pro V, if you see me give me a holler.
I'll leave a detailed report on how I do Saturday.
Thanks again.
