Polaris Indy Lite 1992

Any comments on this machine, good or bad? 1600 miles its for sale and i am looking at ,to possibly purchase , mainly for ice fishing. I really don't know much about snowmobiles, so any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

My buddy had a 92 Indy Lite GT..2 up seat,340cc, long track. It was a great machine. I run the same machine in a 96 model. I like the long track and the 2 up seat. The machine also has a basket on the back. Good dependable sled. Very good on fuel and good in deep snow. I do not like the short track Indy Lite.

How much is he asking for it? Indy lites are really good machines for just playing around or for in the bush. Also, 1600 miles is amazingly low milage, if it looks to be in good condition, go for it.
